Experienced & Licensed Plumber
Martel Plumbing & Heating is looking for an organized, experienced, and licensed Plumbing Service Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience and is confident working across all facets of residential and light commercial plumbing, including service plumbing, rough-ins, underground plumbing, venting, sewer, water, and gas systems.
This position requires someone who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately, communicate clearly with customers, and complete high-quality work without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing issues.
- Perform service including but not limited to plumbing, underground work, rough-ins, venting, and installation of sewer, water, and gas lines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing plans.
- Complete jobs independently while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Work alongside and communicate effectively with coworkers, project managers, and other trades.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine the appropriate repair or installation solution.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work.
- Create and manage customer invoices using our company CRM.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and company standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional plumbing experience required.
- Valid plumbing license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong experience in residential and light commercial plumbing.
- Experience with service plumbing, underground plumbing, rough-ins, and venting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing problems independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, dependable, and able to take responsibility for assigned jobs.
- Comfortable using a CRM for customer communication and invoicing.
